How to use R 1/4 BSPT ring plug gage
- BSPT plug gauge: it controls workpiece’s internal thread’ s pitch diameter and major diameter’s sizes. when screw in the plug gage, the internal thread’s large end should be within plug gage’s step end(-) and large end (+), or be flush with one of the gauges ends. otherwise, the internal thread is unqualified.
- BSPT ring gauge: it controls workpiece’s external thread’s pitch diameter and minor diameter, when screw in the ring gage , the external thread’s small end should be within ring gage’s step end(-) and large end (+), or be flush with one of the gauges ends. otherwise, the external thread is unqualified.
